I was fortunate enough to collaborate with the VISAGE team this year on a few of their marketing initiatives, including a refresh of their established logo, as well as an update to their marketing collateral and brand guidelines.
VISAGE Information Solutions is probably one of the most interesting companies I’ve worked with. VISAGE is data exploration and visual analytics software for the petroleum industry, and the capabilities of the software are truly amazing. Visit their site to learn more.
A little about the project…
Once we established an updated foundation for their marketing initiatives, we began working on an update to their existing website: www.visageinfo.com. The VISAGE site was static, meaning the people managing and updating the site needed to do so using html. Also, the site had not been updated a great deal since its initial build, and needed a visual update.
For the updated VISAGE site, we wanted to keep it clean, make it easy to update, easy to navigate and wanted to incorporate some of their great screenshots of the software in action. We also wanted to incorporate blog functionality to highlight the VISAGE team’s extensive experience in visual analytics.
Here’s what we did
Starting with the existing site, we reworked the content and information structure. We also did a full redesign (thanks to my good friend James Jensen at Atom Graphics). We also chose to move the site over to WordPress (thanks to Trevor at Hop Creative). We implemented blog functionality, and added in easy to view and access screen shots of their amazing capabilities.
This updated site gives VISAGE the ability to update the site easily, and provides an outlet for all their great thoughts. Check out their blog and see what their talking about.
The look, feel and layout of the new site makes for a truly great user experience. It’s strong, clean and has great content flow. I love this site!
As a growing technology company we welcomed the experience, creativity and enthusiasm that Brooke brought to the table. Her professionalism and direction through the design and development process made for a valuable learning experience and a tremendous webpage. Brooke surrounded herself with a talent pool (James from Atom Graphics and Trevor – the east coast WordPress guru) to deliver on time and on budget with a result that exceeded our high expectations.
