Well it was another great weekend out on the Nipika trails, and a great chance for a last hard ski before the birkie next weekend.
Thanks so much to the Nipika crew for putting on a great classic ski race. It’s always a treat skiing at Nipika because the trails are so beautiful, the folks are wonderful, the food is tasty, there are lots of great prizes, there are always lots of fur friends running about, and the atmosphere is always fantastic!
The loppet was 30kms (not 30 “Lyle” kms ;)) and the trails were fast. Warm weather meant tricky waxing, but I was fortunate that some of the MitoCanada guys (thanks Mark and Darryl) took pity on me and applied the necessary klister!
I can’t wait to get back out to Nipika. See ya’ll on the trails.
